In addition to a high water content, the Vagisan moisturising cream also has a nourishing fat content. The white, supple cream from Vagisan provides the dry vagina with moisture and nourishing lipids and relieves the symptoms caused by vaginal dryness such as a feeling of dryness, burning, itching or vaginal pain. Due to the addition of lactic acid, the moist cream is adjusted to a pH of 4.5 - Vagisan Moist cream thus supports the preservation of a natural acid value (pH value) in the vagina. This vaginal cream is free of hormones (estrogens) and can therefore also be used together with systemic hormone replacement therapy (e.g. tablets, transdermal patches) or in alternation with hormone- (estrogen-) containing vaginal creams or suppositories. The moisturising cream is fragrance-free. Regular use of Vagisan moisturizer can help prevent irritation, inflammation and pain in the vagina and external intimate area caused by vaginal dryness. Vagisan wet cream can be used before intimate intercourse (as a lubricating cream), especially for pain during sexual intercourse. The intimate cream does not affect sperm motility and can therefore also be used if you want to have children. Vaginal dryness mainly affects women during or after menopause, but younger women can also be affected by a dry vagina. Often a lack of estrogen (in menopause and after) is the reason for a dry vagina, but hormone fluctuations or stress can also be a cause. Vaginal dryness is often manifested by pain during sex, but it can also affect the affected women in everyday situations, for example, when sitting or riding a bicycle. Vagisan moisturising cream makes the sensitive skin in the intimate area pleasantly supple.
