Description
With its natural sweetness from herbs and spices such as anise, fennel, cloves or cardamom, Yogi Tea Sweet Chai is a tea to fall in love with. When our groundedness is lost, sweetness is particularly significant as it represents the earth element. Refined with black pepper and ginger, the tea has a light, pleasant spiciness. The subtle message of this tea is: put down roots.
Anise:
This annual plant thrives in Asia and southeast of the Mediterranean, and its sweet-tasting fruit has been revered by people for thousands of years. Aniseed used to be sacrificed to the gods, but today it can be found in kitchens, Christmas bakeries and as a delicious spice in many Yogi Teas.
Fennel:
Fennel belongs to the umbelliferous family and has been around the globe for thousands of years because of its intense aroma popular. It originally comes from the Mediterranean and is reminiscent of aniseed due to its sweet-spicy taste.
Liquorice:
Liquorice, the defining component of licorice, has been known since ancient times. It has a sweetening power that is around 50 times stronger than sugar and tastes mildly sweet and bitter-tart.
Cardamom:
Cardamom has been one of the most popular spices throughout Asia and Arabia for thousands of years. Its fine, sweet-spicy aroma makes cardamom ideal for use in numerous dishes - from hot curries to spicy Christmas cookies.
Black pepper:
Black pepper, also known as the king of spices, is now, along with salt, the most important spice in the world . It originally comes from the Indian Malabar Coast and tastes intensely spicy and slightly hot to spicy.
Cinnamon:
Cinnamon was one of the most expensive spices in the world and is said to have been in China as early as 3,000 years BC. May have been used as a spice. Cinnamon is obtained from the bark of the South Asian cinnamon tree, tastes aromatic and sweet and contains valuable essential oils.
