    Description

    A DIDYMOS cloth - many possibilities.


    Depending on how heavy your child is and what distance you have to handle, they can choose between different ways of wearing. Newborns are most parents wearing in front of their chest, simply because they have the best view of the little one. Larger children like to be taken on the hips on short distances, while wearing them better on their back on longer paths. From birth to the third year and for every situation there is at least one wearing method.
    Most importantly, it is important that it is comfortable for you and that your child feels comfortable. Information on which way of wearing for which age should be used are therefore as suggestions not to be understood as rules.


    For each wearing position, we suggest different binding options in the instructions and recommend trying them all once. This will help you know which you and your child like best.


    The longer you choose the DIDYMOS cloth, the more possibilities you have. With a size 6 cloth, most can tie all ways of wearing. It depends on your height, whether you choose the cloth one size larger or smaller.
    In the following table you can see which ways you can tie with the different length cloths.


    With each Dynamos sling you will receive the binding instructions as a booklet and also on DVD.


    The booklet contains detailed step-by-step instructions on 36 pages for 16 different binding instructions. Also general information about wearing and many small tips and knifts that make handling the sling easier, more convenient and faster. The DVD shows the binding of all wearing styles in short films and explained in either German or English.


    The standard blue model consists of a cross twill fabric. With this fabric, the binding points change their positions cross-shaped. Different colours of the warp threads can be created with striped patterns. Both sides of cloth look the same.
    Cross body is characterised by good elasticity in the diagonal direction and high strength in the longitudinal direction.
    The evenly dense fabric is very robust and elastic.


    The material of a sling is very special requirements: DIDYMOS cloths are elastic and remain in shape even under stress without wearing out. They are durable and tear-resistant, but not too heavy or too warm. You can wash them often without them becoming stubborn or out of shape.
    No dubious dyes or textile finishes are included. So you don't have to worry about your baby snugging. The fibres of all DIDYMOS sling are certified from controlled organic cultivation and according to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS).


    Controlled organic cultivation means:


    The further processing, from spinning and dyeing the yarns to the finished cloth, takes place in selected companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.


    Some examples of different binding methods that you can tie with a DIDYMOS cloth.


    The baby is supported by three strips of cloth on all sides to the head. Therefore, this upright carrying position is suitable for newborns. It is probably the most important way to wear.


    From the tenth week, the horizontal cloth of the wrap cross carrier can be omitted.
    The cross carrier is very quick to tie.


    When parents take a slightly larger child up, they usually sit on the hips and hold it with one arm. The same is much more comfortable with a cloth.


    is good for putting a heavier child on their back.
    You do not need any help from another person.
    Bigger children who know the process often help with tying themselves.


    The "cradle" is ideal for weighing a newborn to sleep and doing something else. If the child has fallen asleep, you can gently put it down with the cloth without waking it.


    In the first few weeks, you can also put your baby in the cross carrier.
    The weight is distributed very evenly across both shoulders.


    is a refinement of the hip seat that gives more support and is very easy to put on.
    You need a longer cloth than for a simple hip fit.


    Ideal for long hikes. Thanks to the very good body closure, you hardly have to balance with your shoulders. The waist band wicks a good part of the weight across your hips, which relieves your back.
