    tacholiquin® is a medical product containing the ingredient tyloxapol, which has been used for more than 60 years to dissolve mucus in respiratory diseases. Tyloxapol has a purely physical effect by reducing the surface tension of respiratory mucus and thus helping to liquefy the sputum.
    tacholiquin® has a purely physical effect - by reducing surface tension and without affecting the physiological conditions on the mucous membrane:
    • Mucous deposits in the upper and lower respiratory tract are dissolved
    • Reduction in the viscosity/toughness of the mucus: tougher Mucus is thinned and can be coughed up more easily
    • Wide range of applications

    • Suitable for children aged 3 and over and adults
    tacholiquin® solution is used for the accompanying treatment of various diseases of the upper and lower respiratory tract, which are accompanied by a thick mucus formation.
    tacholiquin® is a solution for inhalation.
    For inhalation, nebulization using an aerosol device is required - commercially available inhalation devices meet this requirement, in particular vibrating membrane, compressed air or ultrasound devices. Steam inhalation with hot water is unsuitable.
    Opened bottles should be used immediately. Store the product out of the reach of children.
    Occasionally, the first deep breaths may be followed by an initial cough or shortness of breath. However, these symptoms disappear spontaneously after wetting the mucous membrane.
    Do not use tacholiquin® if you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the components, if you have pulmonary edema or if there is fluid accumulation in the lungs, or in children under 3 years of age.
