Summary

✔ Hygienic and anti-bacterial: wooden spoons have a double antibacterial effect: on the one hand, wood removes the bacteria from the liquid (hygroscopic effect) and thus the basis of life. On the other hand, many types of wood contain antibacterial ingredients such as polyphenols and tannins that inhibit germ growth and let bacteria die off. These antibacterial ingredients are located on the wood surface as well as deep in the wood.

This practical cooking spoon is made from native beech wood and not chemically treated. Beech is a hardwood and therefore particularly durable and ideal for any kitchen.

No plastic in your food.

With a kitchen aid made of silicone or plastic, there is a risk of the material dissolving when cooking with high heat. This is not the case with our wooden mixing spoon.

Easy to clean and maintain.

After use, rinse your cooking spoon with a little mild detergent under lukewarm water briefly from all sides. In case of more dirt, you can thoroughly clean the surface with a brush or a clean dish cloth. Cleaning in the dishwasher poses the risk of deformation and cracking due to exposure to heat and water.

In principle, wooden mixing spoons can be used untreated and sealing the surface is not necessary. However, it is recommended to care for wooden spoons every month with a little oil or beeswax if used intensively. This has the advantage of hot and greasy food that the wood is sealed and germs, bacteria as well as liquid, discolouration and odours can penetrate the wood.

Cash on Delivery (COD)

Cash on Delivery is a payment method for customer orders of Honest Forwarder throughout the UAE.

For the Cash on delivery orders, you pay at the time the order is delivered by the delivery driver and the driver only accepts cash.

How cash on delivery (COD) works?

Choose Cash On Delivery as your payment method at the checkout page when you place your order.
Send us the order ID over WhatsApp. The order ID is shown in the Cash On Delivery confirmation page or email. Until this order ID verification is over, we can’t process your order.
While we process the international shipping and delivery of your products, please stay updated on the order status through Member page or Order Tracker and emails from us.
The delivery driver will collect the due amount for the order. The driver only accepts cash. Kindly make sure the exact amount is ready in cash for collection.

Product Return and cancellation

In the event of cancellation of your order, please write to us immediately at support@honestforwarder.com. It must be done as soon as possible, before the order is dispatched to the airport for departure.

In the unlikely event of receipt of a defective product, we either replace the product or refund the money paid for the product, depending on the stock availability by the Seller.

For the payment made by credit/debit card, our payment gateway company will refund the amount in full to your bank account of the card.

For Cash On Delivery orders, we will request your bank account info and wire the refund in full to your bank account, except the COD fee AED 10.

We can’t accept the product return for a mere change of minds for the exchange or replacement after delivery. The return request is accepted only when it is due to product defect, damage reported on delivery or wrong item.
