Simply place the coffee powder press on the filled sieve swiftly turn 3 to 4 times clockwise and then tamp.     Scarlet Espresso Grande Tre Distributor.

    Good coffee beans alone don't make a good espresso. If you hold your sieve portafilter directly under the grinder, you will usually have a pointed pile of coffee powder in the sieve after the grinding process. If you then make the mistake of tamping the coffee grounds directly, a coffee puck is created which is much denser in the middle.

    As the water searches for the lowest resistance during brewing, less water runs through the more compressed middle of the coffee puck. The result: The valuable aromas are barely removed from the coffee ground.

    With our Grande Tre Distributor, you can distribute the ground coffee directly after grinding into the edge areas of the sieve, so that the coffee puck has the same density and the extraction is perfect. The working depth of the distributor is variable from 5 mm to 13 mm and can be easily adjusted by hand. Instructions are included (English language not guaranteed).

    Place the distributor on the sieve filled with ground coffee and turn clockwise 3 - 4 times. Then simply tamper. The distributor is also perfect for use in the catering industry where different people prepare coffee, because it keeps the quality of the hot drink consistently good.
