RUF Lebensmittelwerk KG Oldenburger Straße 1, 49610 Quakenbrück You will also need: For the dough: 100 g soft margarine or butter 3 eggs (size M) For the cream: 600 g cold cream For decoration: 75 ml egg liqueur as desired RUF grated dark chocolate Preparation: Prepare the dough and bake: Put the baking mix, soft margarine or butter and eggs in a mixing bowl and mix briefly with an electric hand mixer (whisk) on the lowest speed, then mix on the highest speed for approx. 3 minutes until creamy. Pour the dough into a springform pan (Ø 26 cm) lined with baking paper and smooth it out. Bake the cake in the preheated oven on the middle rack. Before taking it out, check whether the cake is cooked with a wooden skewer. After baking, let the cake cool in the pan for approx. 1 hour. Prepare the base: Remove the cooled base from the tin, place it on a cake plate, and use a tablespoon to scoop out a hole about 0.5 cm deep, leaving a 2 cm wide edge. Roughly chop the crumbs in a bowl. Place a cake ring or the ring of a springform pan around the base. Prepare the cream and decoration: Place the cold cream and cream powder in a mixing bowl and mix with a hand mixer (whisk) on the lowest speed for 1 minute, then mix on the highest speed until smooth. Pour the cream onto the cake base and smooth it out. Spread the crumbs over the cake to create a 3 cm wide edge. Decorate the center of the cake with advocaat and RUF grated chocolate. Refrigerate the cake for at least 1 hour. Use a wet knife to loosen and remove the ring, and smooth the edge.
