    Why do we need the combination of vitamin D3 and K2? Vitamin D is needed for the maintenance of bones and teeth, the functioning of muscles and the immune system, as well as normal cell division.     The vitamin D3 used is obtained by UV light irradiation of lanolin (wool wax), which comes from sheep's wool of living animals.
