    1. What is multilind and what is it used for?
    Multilind is a remedy for fungal infections (antifungal) combined with zinc oxide. Diatraps that were initially caused by mechanical irritation can later be infected by bacteria and fungi. The active ingredient nystatin is used to prevent and treat skin infections with yeast mushrooms (e.g. Candida Albicans). The active ingredient zinc oxide is suitable for treatment of inflammatory and oozing skin changes with or without bacterial infection. Multilind is used for inflammation of the skin and mucous membrane, caused by mechanical irritation ("wolf") and red, itchy and burning herds in the body folds, in the buttocks and chest area and between the thighs, e.g. diaper dermatitis.
    2. What should you consider before using multilind?
    Multilind must not be applied if you are allergic to Nystatin and zinc oxide or one of the other components of this drug mentioned in section 6.
    Warnings and precautionary measures:
    If a hypersensitivity occurs, the medicine should be discontinued and the doctor is consulted.
    Use of Multilind together with other medicines:
    Inform your doctor or pharmacist If you apply other medicines, have recently used other medicines or intend to apply other medicines. So far, no interactions with other drugs have become known.
    Note for the application in the genital or rectal range:
    while using multilind healing ointment with nystatin and condoms, the tear resistance and thus impairing the safety of condoms can lead to a reduction in the tenderness.
    pregnancy and lactation:
    If you are pregnant or breastfeed, or if you suspect that you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine. Multilind can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
    Road and ability to use machines:
    Effects on the traffic and operating machines have not yet become known.
    3. How to use multilind?
    Always apply this medicine exactly as described in this use information or exactly according to the agreement made with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
    The recommended dose is:
    Multilind is applied to the affected skin areas one to several times a day.
    Duration of the application:
    The treatment should continue a few days after the full healing.
    If you have forgotten the application of multilind:
    continue the treatment as in the dosage instructions recommended.
    If you cancel the application of multilind, the disease could deteriorate.
    If you have any further questions about the application of this drug, please contact your doctor and pharmacist.
    4. What side effects are possible?
    Like all medicines, this medicine can also have side effects, but this does not have to occur with everyone. If severe skin reactions occur, the medicine must be discontinued and the doctor must be consulted.

    5. How is multilind to be kept?
    Keep drugs for children inaccessible. The durability after the first opening of the container is 12 months. You can no longer apply the medicine after the expiry date specified on the folding box and the tube or dispenser. Multilind healing ointment with nystatin can be used over the entire duration of treatment after the tube or the dispenser. After termination of the therapy, open tubes or dispensers with multilind healing ointment with nystatin should no longer be used for later treatment. Medicines should not be disposed of in wastewater or budget waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the medicine if you no longer need it. This measure helps to protect the environment.
    6. Content of the pack and further information
    What Multilind contains:
    The active ingredients are: nystatin and zinc oxide. 1 g paste contains 100,000 i.e. Nystatin and 200 mg zinc oxide. The other components are viscous paraffin, polyethylene, perfume oil Citrus rose.
    how multilind looks and contents of the pack:
    white paste. Multilind is available in tubes with 25 g and 50 g and dispenser with 100 g paste for use on the skin.

    How do the ingredients of the drug work?
    nystatin: The active ingredient damages the outer shell, the so -called cell membrane of mushrooms. This cover thus loses part of its functions, cell components occur and the cell can dissolve. Depending on the active ingredient concentration, the mushrooms are inhibited in their growth and multiplication or killed directly.
