The landscape of the protected forest in the small state of El Salvador, along the wide strip of natural country, which stretches from Mexico to Panama, is absolutely impressive. The volcano San Vicente dominates just a few meters away, whose presence makes the El Carmen cultivation area even richer. At about 1,400 metres, one of the most refined ""coffee specialities"" is produced there: Pacamara coffee with a fine acidity - which inspires for its contamination of citrus fruits and spices. Origin: El Salvador Chincontepec - San Vicente - Nuevo Tepetitan Variety: Arabica, Pacamara Processing method: washed / dried in the sun Harvest time: December-January Height: 1.300 - 1.400 Meters Profile in the Cup: The full body highlights a fine, but not citrus-like acidity of Mandarin and blood oranges. Very well-balanced coffee with notes of malt and in the aftertaste with spicy notes of ginger. For the Single Origin coffees we recommend the coffee preparation with the hand filter.
