Description
The decaffeinated espresso roasting Eleane Mierisch Los Placeres Nicaragua consists of 100% Arabica beans. The varieties Caturra, Javainca and Red Catuai were cultivated by the Mierisch family at Finca Los Placeres in Nicaragua and Honduras and picked by hand. The beans are then gently decaffeinated in Bremen by the Caffeine Compagnie using the CO2 process. In the gentle decaffeination process, the coffee beans are first treated with steam and then rinsed with carbon dioxide. After rinsing, the pressure in the chamber is normalized again and the gas evaporates along with the dissolved caffeine. The taste of espresso roasting has wonderful, sweet notes of cream, milk chocolate, as well as black currants. The coffee beans can be perfectly prepared in the espresso cooker, portafilter and in the fully automatic machine.
