Summary

CMC has already replicated Caracciola‘s winning car with starting number 8. This year we would like to pay tribute to the achievements made by Otto Merz and Hans Stuck at the German Grand Prix on July 19, 1931. With that in mind, CMC will develop and make available authentically detailed replicas of their SSKL racers in 1:18 scale.

Description

From the mid to late 1920s and even in 1931, the world racing scene was largely dominated by one automotive marque: Mercedes-Benz, especially with its SSK/SSKL models that are empowered by the legendary 7.1-liter compressor.
The SSKL often went by the affectionateickname of “White Elephant.” On the one hand, this could be attributed to its seemingly unruly power and colossal size.

On the other, it had much to do with the German racing livery that Rudolf Caracciola, Hans Stuck, and Otto Merz had on their SSKLs and the plethora of honors they won in racing the SSKLs.

Despite the global economic crisis and limited support from the Daimler-Benz factory in Stuttgart Untertürkheim, Rudolf Caracciola and his two teammates managed to keep up their chins and brave through the hardships.

In addition to his victory at the 1931 Mille Miglia, Caracciola finished first in the 1931 Grand Prix of Germany, whereas Otto Merz and Hans Stuck took a fifth and sixth place in the same race.

Cash on Delivery is a payment method for customer orders of Honest Forwarder throughout the UAE.

For the Cash on delivery orders, you pay at the time the order is delivered by the delivery driver and the driver only accepts cash.

How cash on delivery (COD) works?

Send us the order ID over WhatsApp. The order ID is shown in the Cash On Delivery confirmation page or email. Until this order ID verification is over, we can’t process your order.
While we process the international shipping and delivery of your products, please stay updated on the order status through Member page or Order Tracker and emails from us.
The delivery driver will collect the due amount for the order. The driver only accepts cash. Kindly make sure the exact amount is ready in cash for collection.

Product Return and cancellation

In the event of cancellation of your order, please write to us immediately at support@honestforwarder.com. It must be done as soon as possible, before the order is dispatched to the airport for departure.

In the unlikely event of receipt of a defective product, we either replace the product or refund the money paid for the product, depending on the stock availability by the Seller.

For the payment made by credit/debit card, our payment gateway company will refund the amount in full to your bank account of the card.

For Cash On Delivery orders, we will request your bank account info and wire the refund in full to your bank account, except the COD fee AED 10.
