    Aluminum housing, die-cast aluminum, and plastic. Clear controls guarantee easy handling.

    The bean containers offer space for 2 types of coffee beans with a content of 2 x 1 kg. The built-in mills with a precision grinding mechanism made of tool steel with a large diameter of the grinding discs (75mm) ensure dust-free, even cold grinding and an individually adjustable coffee powder weight of 7-20 g / cup.

    The device is operated via the embossed membrane keyboard and is processor-controlled. Access to the service levels takes place via coded access. For each individual cup of coffee, the coffee beans are ground directly and the drink is freshly prepared in the low-wear coffee plunger. The outlet height can be adjusted for different vessel sizes from approx. 70 to 185 mm. Sophisticated mechanics and the high-pressure pump guarantee a long service life. The contact pressure can be set individually for each product using the Variable Pressure System (VPS®). The products and operating instructions are displayed on the large graphic display.

    There is a selection of up to 128 different coffee specialties. All coffee products can be purchased as single or double portions. A repetition circuit enables the selected portion to be repeated several times with the same coffee quality.

    The output quantity can be set individually in 1 ml steps. Another type of coffee (e.g. decaffeinated coffee) can be dispensed via an additional input chute. After each brewing process, the machine is immediately ready for use again. All important factors, such as weight, amount of water, degree of grinding, temperature, served products, etc., can be changed quickly and easily via the display field. The ground coffee is disposed of by dry ejection into a drawer (for approx. 25-30 portions) which is secured against overfilling.

    The instant system with 2 storage containers, each with a capacity of 0.45 - 0.80 kg, enables the preparation of all cocoa specialties with either water or milk and water, and also the use of milk powder as an alternative to fresh milk. The containers are firmly closed via the front door.

    An automatic cleaning program with easy-to-use tablets guarantees maximum cleanliness with little effort. The spout features the Clean in Place (CIP®) system and does not have to be disassembled for cleaning. The milk system is cleaned with a liquid cleaner.

    From a carbonate water hardness of 3°, all fully automatic specialty coffee machines from the Melitta® Cafina® XT4 series must be equipped with a Brita water filter.
