    MACUCAP® AMD is a food for special medical purposes.
    meso-canthin, lutein and zeaxanthin are carotenoids that form the macular apigment in the eye.
    These pigments are contained in green -leafed vegetables, such as spinach and kale, as well as in colorful fruit and vegetables such as oranges, peppers or corn but also in egg yolk and in fish.
    These three Macula Carotinoids are combined in the MacUcap® LMZ capsule.
    In a second Capsule type there are high -dose, antioxidant vitamins and minerals: vitamin C and E as well as zinc and copper.
    The combination of all ingredients in MacUcap® AMD result in a composition and dosage, which is specifically geared towards the increased need for partitions with AMD.
