Description
Another member of the LAB family is the LAB herb garden, consisting of three plant pots and a real wood frame. The plant pots have a capacity of 1.28 liters and therefore offer enough space for fresh, home-grown or market-purchased herbs such as basil, mint or chives. Inspired by the laboratory porcelain of the 20th century, KPM chief designer Thomas Wenzel developed the minimalist, technical design language of the LAB series. The multifunctionality of its universally applicable products, such as mortars and pestles, cups, cans, vases and plates, consistently developed for the modern kitchen laboratory, impresses both with its iconic, timeless design and with its extraordinary feel. With the end of the monarchy in 1918, the KPM became a state porcelain factory. After the Second World War, the manufactory fell to the state of Berlin, which changed the name back to the Royal Porcelain Manufactory and sold it to Jörg Woltmann in 2006. The Berlin banker determined the realignment of the traditional company by promoting internationalization as a premium brand and consistently focusing on expanding the brand to
