Description
During wet processing, the coffee cherries are first removed from the pulp. Subsequently, these are stored in water tanks, so that the last remains of the pulp also peel off. After a second pass with fresh water, the sun drying takes place with repeated turning. Wild coffee refines the Arabica beans with a medium degree of roasting. This ensures the sweet, creamy taste with notes of crunchy. For Colombia, wild coffee Arabica uses beans of the varieties Caturra and Colombia. The coffee cherries come from the Nariño region, on the border with Ecuador, where at altitudes of 2,200 m the coffee is cultivated by a group of smaller farmer families. After harvesting, the coffee cherries are washed, processed and then sun-dried.
