Summary
A cold is not only annoying, it can easily put us out of action for a few days. The nose is blocked, it is difficult to breathe, and we usually feel tired and weak. If the infection spreads to the nasal sinuses, the accompanying symptoms are an unpleasant feeling of pressure and headaches. hysan® cold spray quickly and reliably reduces the swelling of the inflamed nasal mucosa.
This allows the tough, stuck-on mucus to flow away and you can breathe freely again just a few minutes after using the medicine.
The ingredient xylometazoline not only develops its powerful effect quickly, but also for a long time, up to ten hours. This keeps your nose clear even at night and allows for a restful sleep.
To clear the nose of viscous secretions, decongestant nasal sprays with the active ingredient xylometazoline, such as the hysan® cold spray, have proven to be effective. The substance causes the blood vessels in the nasal mucosa to contract. The reduced blood flow can cause the tissue to swell. This creates space for the mucus to drain away and the nose can breathe freely again. Like all hysan® preparations, the cold spray is characterized by the absence of preservatives and good tolerability. The decongestant nasal spray is also suitable for short-term acute therapy in school-age children.
hysan® cold spray is a decongestant nasal spray for the treatment of adults and school children.
The medicine should not be used for longer than 7 days.
Xylometazoline hydrochloride 1 ml hysan® cold spray contains 1 mg xylometazoline hydrochloride. 1 spray of hysan® cold spray of 0.14 ml contains 0.14 mg xylometazoline hydrochloride.
Sodium edetate (Ph.Eur.); sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate; Sodium monohydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate (Ph.Eur.); Sorbitol (Ph.Eur.); purified water.
A stuffy nose not only affects breathing and is often accompanied by fatigue, headaches and body aches. If the cold is particularly persistent and lasts for a long time, it can lead to sinusitis or, in the case of a so-called change of floor, spread to the lower respiratory tract and cause coughing or acute bronchitis. To avoid complications, a persistent cold should always be treated. Decongestant nasal sprays such as hysan® cold spray quickly remove thick mucus and ensure clear nasal breathing within minutes.
During the typical cold season in autumn and winter, children are often affected by a cold several times. In schools and after-school care, where people learn and play together in close quarters, the risk of infection with cold viruses is particularly high. Rest, plenty of sleep and sufficient fluid intake are particularly important now to support the healing process. For the targeted treatment of blocked nose, hysan® cold spray is suitable for children aged 6 and over. The medicine works quickly, is free of preservatives and is particularly well tolerated.

Take off the protective cap before use.

Activate the pump until the solution comes out (usually 1 to 2 times). The system is now ready for use for any further use.

Insert the spray opening into the nostril and pump once. Breathe in gently. Repeat the process on the other nostril.

After use, always wipe the nasal adapter with a clean tissue to reduce the risk of infection the next time you use it. Then close with a protective cap.
