    How often should I use Hylo Gel® eye drops every day?
    HYLO GEL® eye drops offer intensive and long -lasting moisture in heavy and chronic shapes of the dry eye. Dose the eye drops individually according to your condition or recommendations of your ophthalmologist. In general, 1 drop of Hylo Gel® is dripped into the conjunctiva bag every eye 3 times a day. In the event of stronger symptoms, the eye drops can also be used more often a day. If you use HYLO GEL® in addition to another drug treatment with eye drops, please keep an application distance of at least 30 minutes. In this case, Hylo Gel® is to be administered.     What do I have to consider when using HYLO GEL® with contact lenses?

If you suffer from severe symptoms of dry eyes, especially at night, the use of eye drops can be supplemented by a moisturizing eye ointment overnight like Hylo Night®.     What are the advantages of eye drops without preservatives?
    Conservatives are used in many preparations to prevent pathogenic germs from getting into the eyes. If eye drops cannot be kept sterile, bacteria and mushrooms can easily settle that can be considered when using it and cause infections. However, the preservatives often cannot offer complete protection against germs and also cause intolerance reactions. At HYLO GEL® - as with all other eye drops of the HYLO® product family - preservatives are deliberately avoided. This is made possible by the unique COMOD® system, which keeps the liquid sterile and airtight. So the eye drops can be kept for 6 months even without a preservative.
