Description
The "Rocking Glass" is an original drinking glass from Normann Copenhagen. The rounded bottom allows it to swing on the table but not spill over. The swaying of the glass is not only funny to watch, the glass's curve also makes it wonderful to hold in the hand. It is also ideal as a dessert glass - at least that is how it is used in the MoMA Café in New York. The Scandinavian interior company Normann Copenhagen was founded in 1999 by Paul Madsen and Jan Andersen to give ordinary residential objects a captivating upgrade through creativity and unusual design. Three years after the company was founded, the first design object, the Norm 69 pendant light, was presented on the market. Its great success made it a design classic in a very short time. With a lot of inventiveness and a willingness to take risks, in collaboration with well-known designers and talents from all over the world, numerous other products have followed every year, which always ensure an exciting eye-catcher with their simple, often unusual design language. Clocks, bowls, vases, candle holders, coat racks and the like are part of the wide Normann Copenhagen range and they all have what it takes to become a permanent favorite.
