Information about the roastery
Caffè New York is a traditional roastery in Tuscany. The family business is run by the third generation and focuses on quality over quantity.
New York Caffe XXXX Espresso 1kg Whole Bean Coffee
In just a few years, Ugo Incerpi transformed the small "New York" bar in the Tuscan seaside resort of Montecatini Terme into a renowned coffee roastery. Since the word "family" is very important in Italy, it was clear that the entire family would work together and build the artisanal business into a large company. Caffé New York is considered one of the finest coffee blends today and enjoys a high reputation among coffee lovers.
A select espresso blend made from 80% Arabica beans, including 5% from Jamaica's Blue Mountains, one of the most expensive coffee bean varieties in the world, and 20% Robusta beans.
The dark and even roasting gives the beans a balanced, medium-strong body.
The New York Caffe XXXX Espresso captivates with its chocolatey-spicy aroma, wonderfully fruity flavor, and notes of dark chocolate, cardamom, and nuts.
It is suitable for preparing a wide variety of coffee creations in portafilter machines and fully automatic coffee machines.
Blue Mountain Coffee: Along with a few other coffee varieties, Blue Mountain coffee belongs to the highest category of coffee specialties. The coffee bushes are grown at altitudes between 910 and 1700 meters. The cultivation area is just 6,000 hectares. The areas above 1,700 meters are densely forested and protected as a forest reserve. The fog, cool temperatures, and heavy rainfall are the main factors for a special climate in the Blue Mountains, which means the coffee cherries grow much more slowly and easily. This long ripening period creates a unique and special aroma with a recognizable quality that is highly valued by coffee experts. The exceptional aroma, small yield, hand-picking, special packaging in wooden barrels, and elaborate marketing make Jamaica Blue Mountain one of the most expensive coffees in the world, with a market price of around 100 dollars per kilogram.
