There are no known interactions.
2.5 Pregnancy and breastfeeding
There are no sufficient studies on the use of elderflowers during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Tea infusions made from elderflowers should therefore not be drunk by this group of people.
2.6 Ability to drive and use machines
There is no experience regarding the impairment of operating machines.

3.1 Dosage and method of use
Unless otherwise prescribed, a cup of the tea infusion prepared as follows is drunk as hot as possible 3 to 5 times a day: 2 teaspoons full (approx. 3 g) of elderflowers are mixed with boiling water (approx. 150 ml) and after about 10 to 15 minutes, if necessary, passed through a tea strainer.
3.2 Duration of application
The duration of application is in principle not limited. Please note the information in Chapters 1 and 2.
Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of elderflower is too strong or too weak.
3.3 If you have used more of the medicine than you should and you experience symptoms due to the higher dose, please inform your doctor. This can decide on any necessary measures if necessary.


Like all medicines, elderflower can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.
So far there are no known side effects.
Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any side effects that are not listed in this leaflet.
