Notes: GMO-free, no flavoring, no synthetic colors, no synthetic preservatives, no white sugar, purely plant-based, unsweetened. - Recipe: Swiss cheese bread 500g wheat flour type 550, 1 tbsp salt, 1/2 cube of yeast (21g) or 1 packet of dried yeast, 1/2 tsp ground black pepper, 250ml lukewarm milk, 50g soft butter, 200g grated Emmental cheese, flour for sprinkling. Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm milk. Knead all ingredients together with a hand mixer until a smooth dough is formed. Cover with a cloth and let rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes. Then knead well again. Shape into a round loaf of bread and roll the outside in flour. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and let rise for another 45 minutes in a warm place. Preheat the oven to 180°C and place a small bowl of water in the oven. Make a 2cm deep cross-shaped cut in the top of the bread and bake at 180°C for about 50 minutes until golden brown.
Production: Type 550 white flour consists of approximately 75% of the whole wheat grain. Only the coarse bran particles are sifted out during milling. The grain is ground into flour in our mill. Both the grain and the flour are intensively tested in the laboratory. The grain comes from biodynamic, regional cultivation by the Demeter Producers' Association North.
