All fabrics are tested for harmful substances according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100. Bubou meets the safety requirements of EN 16781:2018 and is therefore a safe choice for your child's health. Easy to wrap: Bubou has a slanted zip all the way around and can therefore be opened almost completely. So you can easily wrap your baby at night without taking it off and waking it up. For every season: Bubou also ensures the right sleeping temperature during the transitional period. Too warm, too cold? With Bubou you will feel safe even in spring and autumn. Thanks to its temperature regulation and the removable sleeves, you can use it for your child all year round and do not need another changing sleeping bag. Safe workmanship. Bubou has an age-appropriate fit in five different sizes, a fitted neckline, extra cuffs, flat seams, covered zips and no press studs. This means that even more active children are completely protected and the sleeping bag cannot slip. This is how BUBOU works: "Phase Change Materials" (PCM) is the integrated special foam. The sleeping bag fleece contains millions of microscopically small PCM capsules that become liquid as soon as the sweaty body releases heat to it. They retain this heat first. When it gets colder, the capsules crystallise and release the energy in the form of heat. The sleeping temperature remains as constant as possible and your baby sleeps safer and longer. How to find the right size: the sleeping bag should sit well on the shoulders, neck and arms, so that your child does not slip in. It also needs to be able to stretch out completely.     Der Schlafsack BUBOU wacht darüber, dass der Nachwuchs während der verschiedenen Schlafphasen immer in seiner individuellen Komfortzone bleibt. Er unterstützt eine ausgeglichene Haut- und Körpertemperatur. Das ist ganz wichtig, weil Sie so die Risiken des plötzlichen Kindstodes verringern, der u.a. durch Wärmestau verursacht werden kann.

    Gesslein nutzt erstmals eine innovative Technologie aus der Weltraumforschung um den Schlafkomfort von Babys und Kleinkindern zu verbessern.

    So funktioniert der Temperaturausgleich: Wenn die Temperatur Ihres Kindes über dem Idealwert liegt, werden die im Schlafsack befindlichen Mikrokapseln flüssig und erzeugen einen Kühleffekt. Sinkt die Temperatur wieder, gehen die Mikrokapseln von der flüssigen in die feste Phase über, setzen dabei Wärmeenergie frei und halten so den Körper auch bei niedrigen Temperaturen angenehm warm.

    In der ersten Schlafphase, wenn die Körpertemperatur des Kindes häufiger über dem Idealwert liegt, nehmen die winzigen Mikrokapseln im Inneren Körperwärme auf und speichern sie. Wenn dann später die Körpertemperatur sinkt, wird diese Wärme wieder abgegeben. So bleibt das Baby die ganze Nacht in seiner individuellen Komfortzone.
