    Ladival Tattoo Lotion SPF 50
    Gives tattooed skin the care and protection it needs when exposed to UV radiation: the lotion keeps the skin soft and supple and moisturises it. Early fading caused by the sun can be prevented. The sun lotion with protection factor 50 contains no PEG emulsifiers or (free) silicone oils and has been dermatologically tested on tattooed skin.

    Basically, tattooed parts of the body are particularly sensitive to light. On the one hand, colour pigments have become under the skin through the process of tattooing. On the other hand, tiny injuries were caused by the needles when tattooing the skin. Therefore, it is not advisable to expose freshly tattooed skin to the sun. But even with tattoos already healed, the sun can contribute to a fading of the colours, because UV radiation destroys the colour pigments. Therefore, a high protection factor should be chosen to preserve the luminosity of the colours.
