    is an innovative combination of successful mechanisms of action for dry eyes that have been used millions of times.
    combines the positive properties of hyaluronic acid with those of the natural ingredient trehalose in a hypotonic formulation.
    The
    moisturizes the surface of the eye in a beneficial way, improves the tear film and extends the duration. It also helps with the regeneration of the cornea and promotes wound healing.
    The
    protects the eyes from damage caused by dryness. Trehalose is a naturally occurring disaccharide (double sugar) that is synthesized by many living organisms during prolonged drought to protect themselves from the harmful effects of drought (anhydrobiosis).
    Trehalose can also protect the cornea and conjunctiva from the effects of dryness by the sugar forming a kind of protective film on the cell surface. Trehalose also has a high water-binding capacity and is therefore a suitable, natural ingredient for a tear substitute.
